Stage Two is a network of Europe’s leading university-affiliated entrepreneurship centers. FastCast Ceramics has been nominated by the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) to pitch our start-up idea at this year’s event in Berlin. Wolf Gereon Wedel presented our solution for the investment casting industry in front of a critical jury and answered all the questions they had.

Innovative and inspiriting start-ups from more than 40 universes from all over Europe where present pitching their great ideas for our new beyond. We met so many interesting people with great ideas for different industries.

Besides exciting pitches, the program was spiked with several international key speakers. Listening to Ijad Madisch, the founder of ResearchGate, how his journey went and how he met first investors was gripping. Kelly Bencheghib, Co-Founder of Sungai Watch gave us very interesting insights in her work protecting rivers in Indonesia. Both showed, that change can be achieved.

Just to participate and have the opportunity to present for ourselves would have been a great success and honor for us. When we then received the offer for an investment over 600k € from High-Tech Gründerfonds, Stage Two was perfect for us. We thank High-Tech Gründerfonds and its team for the for the deep tech award and the trust that comes with it.

We would also like to congratulate the other startups for their great and inspiring ideas they shared with us. Congratulations go to all other winners of this event, especially to Semorai from Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) and HBOX Therapies from RWTH Aachen University.

We would also like to thank the many great people working in the background for the whole event. You have organized a great event and strengthened us in our way to achieve a new beyond.
